Working with us

Book a confidential 30-minute call with a senior lawyer. We talk through your matter, walk you through your options, and follow up within 24 hours with a clear next step in writing. No obligation to engage further.

Yes. A big part of our practice is early-stage founders, scaling startups, and SMEs. We offer fixed-fee packages and monthly retainer plans designed for businesses without an in-house legal team.

Absolutely. Many of our clients keep us on a monthly retainer that covers everyday legal questions, contract reviews, and a quarterly strategic review. One predictable fee, no surprises.

We confirm new enquiries within one business day (Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm WAT). For retained clients, response times are set in your engagement letter and are usually same-day for anything urgent.

Fees & engagement

We mix fixed fees, hourly rates, and monthly retainers depending on the work. One-off jobs like incorporation, contract reviews, and legal opinions are usually fixed-fee. Advisory and litigation tend to be hourly or retainer-based.

Yes. For company incorporation, founder agreements, NDPA compliance setups, trademark registration, and standard contract templates. You get a clear quote upfront before any work starts.

The first 30-minute consultation is free. If you decide to engage us, we send a simple engagement letter with scope and fees before any further work begins.

Practice & jurisdiction

We are based in Lagos, Nigeria. We act for Nigerian businesses and international clients investing in, selling into, or expanding across Africa. For work outside Nigeria, we partner with vetted counsel in that jurisdiction.

Yes. Our dispute resolution practice covers commercial litigation, arbitration (LCIA, ICC, LMA), and mediation. Where it serves you, we always try to settle commercially before things reach court.

We run a conflict check before any engagement starts. If a conflict exists we tell you straight away and, where possible, point you to trusted counsel who can help.

Yes. Legal professional privilege covers everything you share with us from the moment you reach out. That includes consultation enquiries that never become a formal engagement.
